What’s your favourite thing about working for Internet Videocommunications?
I work with a great bunch of people and try my hardest to look after my team to keep them happy.
What do you see as being the next big thing in the industry?
Meeting room design that increases cloud based collaboration between those in the room and remote participants. Also the development of faster wi-fi networks will aid this real-time interaction.
When you are not working what do you like to do?
Play golf only I don’t play anywhere near enough to improve my game as most of my free time for the last 6 months has been spent renovating a house and there is plenty more to do here before it is finished.
Name three famous people you would like to have dinner with and why?
David Attenborough – What he has witnessed round the world I am sure he has some stories to tell
Michael Macintyre – I need to discuss storage of spices and he gets life if you have kids.
Richard Branson – He always put his people first when building his business empire.
What talent do you wish you had?
I wish I had learnt to play the guitar. I own a guitar that I purchased many years ago touring with a band but have never really taken the time to learn to play. This is particularly frustrating as there are so many singer songwriters amongst my closest friends.
What’s the best advice you’ve ever been given?
Never ask someone to do something you are not willing to do yourself.
